MEMS Gyro:
The Gyro-MEMS (Micro Electro Mechanical Systems) tool uses a triaxial gyro module to monitor the rotation of the instrument over time. Recording continues and calibration allows operation for a long period of time while maintaining the accuracy of your record.
- It can be used as a Gyro released through the pipe configuration memory.
- Low power comsuption, 22 hrs. of run time without connection to a computer on earth.
- Low power dissipation 0.4W provides a long run time with covertor Heat Shield (Typically 6 hours at 350°F).
- Operates in all orientations, including horizontal and inverted-no limitation latitudes or a Azimuth.
- The detection sensor magnetic field provides a complete record of the magnetic fields. No magnetic interference measurement in the processes of orientation and registration as it uses its gyro sensor independently. This tools provides two instruments in one.
- The Gyro- MEMS is fast processing, each reading station takes about 15 seconds per sample, saving time and money.
- Use the tool with Gyro Launched on Slickline in casing, Drill pipe or open hole.
